Doing your own nails and achieving a salon-like perfect finish is not the easiest thing to do, nail technicians spend years training and perfecting their skills. Fear not, we're here to guide you through the steps to get the best possible results. The key to unlocking long-lasting results is all in the detail...think prep, base coat, 2 coats of polish (dried between) and of course topcoat for that glossy finish sealing in your colour. STEP 1
Prepare your nail plate by removing cuticles (see our Essentials Manicure tutorial)
STEP 2
Apply Peacci 2-in-1 Base Coat to harden, strengthen and nourish nails, and also improve polish longevity.
STEP 3
Apply the first layer of your base colour, leaving to dry for 2-3 minutes. When applying the colour, press down into the brush and it will fan out, making it easier to cover the cuticle area in one stroke. Apply the polish in long strokes to achieve a smooth and flawless finish.
STEP 4
Use a nail art brush or thin cotton bud soaked in acetone or nail polish remover to neaten edges and clean up any polish on the nail bed.
STEP 5
Apply your second layer of polish, pressing down into the brush so it will fan out, and apply in long strokes for full, even coverage. Remember to allow each layer of polish to dry for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 6
For a pro finish, apply Peacci Gel'ous Top Coat for a flawless gel-like finish which lasts for up to 7 days. This innovative formula visibly prolongs both gloss and colour. Allow to air dry for 2-3 minutes, or cure in sunlight for longer-lasting results.
STEP 7
When nails are completely dry, massage in Peacci Cuticle Oil to nourish and rehydrate cuticles
